About Our Sauna

Built in 2025, our mobile sauna consists of two sauna rooms and one entry room where guests can leave their water bottles, phones, coats, shoes, and so forth.

The wood varies through the building, with cedar at the entrance, pine in the central "changing room," and basswood in the saunas themselves.

Each sauna has room for eight people, with benches covering two walls.

Sauna Rates

For guests staying with us at the resort, 4 hours of sauna time is included per reservation. You may split this up however you see fit for the amount of people with you. If you want to schedule more time, you may add on time for the additional fee listed below.

For visitors (sauna guests off-lake or those not using it in conjunction with a cabin rental), cost is $50/per hour for one room. This covers up to 8 people. Alternatively, an individual can check to see when we have the sauna already fired up for our guests and potentially come for $15/hour.

ALL SAUNA GUESTS must reserve their time at least 24 hours in advance and visit the lodge to sign a waiver. If we are closed at the time you'd like to come reserve a spot, simply give us a call or email us and we can check availability for you.

Walking in to Sauna

Read all our sauna guidelines to prepare for your visit!

Sauna Safety

For your safety and ours, we remind you that children ages 14 and under are prohibited from entering the sauna.

If you are pregnant, elderly, or suffer from heart disease, diabetes, or high or low blood pressure, do not use a sauna without prior medical consultation from your doctor.

Limit your sauna session to one hour at a time. Prolonged exposure to high humidity and temperatures can cause fatigue, dehydration, overheating, and, in severe cases, unconsciousness.

Sauna FAQs

"It says 'mobile,' does that mean we can rent it and take it off the property?"

Our sauna is legally too tall to transport on public roads, so mobile in this instance just means that we are able to move it around our property - i.e. to the lakeside during the winter and to the Rec during the summer.

"Can we do a cold plunge prior to using the sauna, or while we're using it?"

Yes. While we do require that you shower off before using the sauna, we know personally how wonderful a cold swim right into a sauna feels. Do your best to clean off any sand or lake weeds that may have stuck to you before entering the "locker room," and be sure to clean down your space after your time is up.

"Can we use a room if we notice it's empty?"

You can sign up for a room if it's empty, but you can't just walk in. We will have a sign up sheet available in the lodge. If a room looks empty, swing by to make sure it isn't scheduled for someone else first.

"I know when I want to schedule a sauna visit, but your lodge isn't open at that time! What do I do?"

Give us a call! Either the day before if you want an early slot, or any other time during our phone hours (9am - 7pm). For guests and visitors alike, we can easily make sure it's available and ready for you.
